Lion's Roar is our first proper direct trade coffee. We paid the full price to the coffee farmer Stephan Katongole directly and bought in help for logistics, export and import services.

Stephan Katongole is a 3rd generation Robusta farmer. He grew up in Germany and returned to his family farm in Sembabule Uganda to take over his grandparents' legacy in growing Fine Robusta and selling it to roasters directly. His company is called Coffee You Know
